FFM finished the day delivering supplies to families in the Clear Creek and Hiner communities. We had three sxs’s loaded down with water, food, and cleaning items. We would like to thank Scott Combs and Benjamin Holland for volunteering their time to help get to those that can’t get out. This is such a devastating time for our people, but seeing everyone come together and making things happen is truly heartwarming. Proud to be from EKY!

Day 1 of “Families Helping Families” Flood Relief started off with 40,000 lbs of supplies being delivered to Hazard by the best trucking company in the business, R+L Carriers. Driver Christian Blake was wonderful to work with and we are grateful for his help today.

FFM would like to thank our sponsors R+L Carriers, Wilmington Church of God, and Maple Street Church of God. We would also like to thank Jakes Branch Fire Department for always being so kind, generous, and ready to help when we call on them.

There will be several more semis coming this week. Once everything is unwrapped and sorted, we will post an update with dates/times that supplies can be picked up.

Family First has been out assessing the damage from lasts nights flooding in EKY. We have kicked into emergency mode and are ready to assist those affected. We are working with local police agencies and social services that have requested aid. If you or someone you know are in need of shelter, food, or clothing, please contact us here on our ministry page by commenting on this post or sending us a direct message. We all must come together for our communities during this time of devastating loss. Please be in prayer for all affected and those working diligently to restore power, water, roadways, etc. God bless 🙏🏼
