Grace & Peace To Our EPC Family:
During this holiday weekend, the state of Texas experienced devastating rain and flooding that led to many lives lost and many still missing. We are asking for everyone to keep them in prayer in these specific ways:
1️⃣Pray God’s peace and the comfort of the Holy Spirit for the families of those who are left to grieve the loved ones they lost in the midst of natural disaster.
2️⃣Pray strength and peace for the families who are now in recovery efforts as they look for their missing loved ones.
3️⃣Pray for Grace Covenant Church(EPC) in Ingram, TX which is twelve miles down river from Camp Mystic. They have not experienced any loss of life or property damage, but they are now heavily involved in the recovery of missing community members. Let us keep them lifted in prayer that God would keep them safe and use them as an example of His love in the midst of chaos and grief.
In the meantime, the Disaster Relief Committee is already hard at work to provide resources and assistance to the local community and will keep us updated as plans develop.
