We had a great time at worship this morning in church, celebrating the great work of the Laity in our community. We were reminded to carry forward the mission of the church beyond our sanctuary and pulpits, to carry it to our classrooms, workplaces, homes, and communities wherever Gods people walk in faith.

Happy 4th of July everyone!

As we convene with our loved ones today on this special 4th of July celebration, I rejoice with each of you. For it is a day to reflect on the blessings of liberty and freedom that we, as a nation, have been so graciously given. May your celebrations be filled with warmth, laughter, and precious moments shared with your loved ones. We pray for God's abundant blessings to be upon you and your families, bringing peace, health, and prosperity to your homes.

Let us also, with humble hearts, lift up our nation in prayer. We ask for divine wisdom to guide our leaders, that they may steer us towards unity, justice, and compassion for all. May the dream of our founding fathers a nation where liberty and opportunity flourish continue to be realized, and may we, as a people, uphold the values that have made this country a beacon of hope. We pray for enduring peace to reign in our land, that harmony and understanding may prevail over discord.

May the Lord watch over you and keep you safe on this glorious day. As you celebrate the spirit of independence, remember the profound grace that underpins our freedoms. Let us continue to walk in faith, demonstrating love and kindness to one another, and striving to be a shining light in our communities. Have a blessed and joyous 4th of July!
