On August 13, 1973, the believers of East Burke Baptist Church walked into our sanctuary building for the first time. Decades later, God's grace and blessings are still evident in everything we do!
In Matthew 5:14–16, Jesus calls us to be a light on a hill—not hidden, but shining bright so others may give glory to God.
We praise God for His protection through every season of our church’s story, and as we look ahead, we commit to keeping Jesus at the center, sharing His Gospel, and letting His light shine in all we do.
The best is yet to come!

Hope everyone can make it to Bible Study tonight. This is a great time of discussion and in depth study of God's Word. Everyone gets a chance to ask questions and share their view on the scripture. It's very informal, and you can even bring a snack to enjoy with a cup of coffee or drink while we meet. Come join us!

Please take a moment each day this week and pray for the kids, teachers, school bus drivers, lunchroom workers, custodians, school safety officers, and administrairs as they all return to school. Pray for their safety (physical and emotional), that the school year is productive, and that everyone grows in a positive way.
