Topic: Empowered from on High

•Empower: Authority, ability to do something; equipped and strengthened to carry out a purpose
•The Fire comes from the Lord
•Holy Ghost fire represents God’s presence/Holiness
•We have to maintain our fire; through fasting and prayer
•You have to be empowered!!!
•God gives the Holy Ghost fire but believers must nurture the relationship with Him, you have to read about Him, talk to Him, and talk about Him
•When you have the fire of the Holy Ghost you have the Holy Ghost to back you up
•If you don’t tend to the fire it will die down
•If you pray God will change it
•You have to be able to keep your spiritual connection with God
•We have to be spiritually alert
•There’s two things that John told us he’s going to baptize you with:
1.You need to be baptize with the Holy Ghost
2. You need to be baptized with Fire

•The power is to do what God called you to do
•When God anointed you to do something it comes easy to you
•Whatever you do, do it with POWER!
•You gone need some Power with Fire
•Power is not limited to the pulpit
•You have to recognize you can’t do this on your own
•When are you going to receive the Power????
•The spirit of selfishness will make you think you’ve done it all by yourself
•Selfishness will steal your hope and throw you into depression and anxiety
•You can’t do life without the power of the HolyGhost
•You can’t do life unless he puts His super in your natural
•This power is not traced back to a person, a church, or anything that has to do with the world but it’s traced back to God
•Your mistakes don’t disqualify you from the power of the Holy Ghost
•The same God that knew you messed up is the same God that knew you would get back up again
•Acts 2:14
•Some of us have been living but have not been living in power
•People are trying to change their whole life without the power of God
•When you have the power of God, the Holy Ghost will show you how to sow and how to reap
•You are not the former person, you are the empowered person
•You rather be empowered than gifted
•Some doors will not open for you until you are empowered
•The Holy Ghost is not just at church, He is your helper on your job, with your children, with your finances
•Acts 2:41
•How do you know you’re empowered… You see results everywhere!
•Acts 4:13
•When is the last time you been in the presence of God?
•If you not seeing no results you have to get back to the alter/upper room/ your place of prayer
•If you plan on coming out, you’re going to need some power
•There’s enemies in this world that want your power

•Fearful: terrible
•Fall into: sole dependency on someone else
•The struggle is over
•In God hands is love, it’s hope, it’s protection
•God has given you the best favor He can ever give you
•Captivity is not looking for you, doubting is not looking for you, fear is not looking for you; we go back looking for it
•Some people don’t know how to give God glory for freedom
•He delivered us from ourselves
•You’ve went through so much stuff, you’re starting to act like the stuff you’ve been there
•Some people don’t deserve to be in my space
•It takes something to be patient with people that’s going through something
•Some people happy you’re losing stuff
•Don’t laugh at me now because things are about to change
•You can have heaven on earth
•The most important thing we can ask God for is Salvation
•You don’t just do for God because you are looking for Him to do for you; You do for God because you love Him
•The only reason the spirit of the Living God shows up is because he has a job to do
•Your Faith is the continuation of justification

-Elders: The people of old
(Jeremiah 6:16)
-obtain: to get or receive or gain something, to be a witness about, to be testified of, receive a good report or approval to have God to speak well of you.
-the elders gain because of their faith in God
-their faith cause heaven to speak on there behalf
-stop looking for recognition from people
-the spoken word
-verse 3 is saying by faith we understand the entire universe was form at God’s command
-Framed: to put in order, to arrange or set in place, prepare or equip to be perfectly joined together(God assigned an arrange out in its proper place, He brought order out of chaos, He structured it with purpose order and precession
-word: rheum word,a right now word,a spoken word,declared word,a specific living utterance
-be careful what you framing up
-God spoken word carries power
-there is nothing you can’t do if the word of God is planted firmly in your heart and spoken with confidence
-you faith is always the evidence of what you believing God for
-darkness can become light
-you can frame your own world
-Roman 10:10
-apply the principle

-we have to go beyond religion to frame our world
-religion is not gone bring you out
-God reveals Himself through the pages of His word

•Some people start thinking they are more than they are
•Some of our problems are we spend all our lives looking for something that’s in our face
•You don’t have to look any further the hope is staring you in the face
•Some of else allow the enemy to talk us out of our blessed place
•Same hour: immediately, without hesitation
•Jesus don’t have to tell you or need your permission to bless you
•You don’t have to wait until tomorrow it’s happening now
•Cure: to make whole
•Infirmities: Weakness, habits that you can’t break
•If you want it, you can have it
•People miss their blessings because they try to promote themselves instead of waiting on God to promote them
•Plagues: diseases and epidemics
•Fear is a disease
•Evil spirits: demonic activity
•Blind: the inability to see or see clearly
•Too many people want to sit on the bench but don’t want to tell anyone about the goodness of Jesus
•Deaf hear: he’s fixing your ear
•We get distracted about little stuff
•There’s some dead stuff about to get out my life
•Don’t let no devil stop you from knowing your savior

•How can you be more committed to your job than the God that gave you life?
•Content: ok with whichever way the Lord provides
•God said He is going to do it again
•God don’t want anybody to get the glory but Him
•No matter what you get in life when you die you can’t take anything with you
•flee: get away from; intentionally getting away from sin and temptation quickly
•I can be everything God called me to be
•The devil does not care about you going to church, he just don’t want you in the right church
•Follow: commit your life to the path of God’s way; it comes through obedience and trust
6 things every Christian must follow
1.Righteousness: you can’t be righteous and follow everything that’s wrong
2.Godliness: changing your attitude
3.Faith
~Whatever you feed is going to live
4.Follow love
~Some people have a problem telling people they love them if they aren’t getting something from them
5.Patience: waiting without complaining
6.Meekness: humility

•Your hungry for God will determine your pursuit or relationship with him
•Why do we settle for a shallow relationship with God?
•Why are satisfied without God’s presence?
•It’s about your hungry and your thirst
•Remember: recall something or retain in thought constantly
•We are the ones that determine our level of hunger and not God
•The only way we can maintain a created hunger by god is we protect what we fill it with

(Proverbs 27:7)
~Full: satisfied
~Loathe: Don’t want to have anything to do with it or trampled down
~A satisfied soul don’t want anything to do with the Word of God
•We run after stuff that is not satisfying us
•God wants us to be unstuck
•Some of us are not engaged in the Word
•Some of us are distracted and we’re allowing our children to be distracted
•What type of appetite and craving you have?
•We will shorten the life of our body if we don’t treat it right

•The unbelievers say seeing is believing
•Faith is expecting to get it
•Faith is action
•Hope: open invitation with no limits, no boundaries, to fully expect
•God promised salvation, healing, and eternal life; Faith causes you to live, pray, and obey all those promises
•Whatever you believe God for has already been settled in heaven, you don’t have to beg for it
•Evidence: proof, inward certainty, reality
•Faith is not visual, it is confidence when there’s no confirmation
•Faith reaches forward and pull it in the presence
•Some of us serve a god of religion, of our own will
•There’s an anointing on your life but it’s only going to be stirred by faith
•Faith is a gift from god it enable us to take a firm hold of the unseen world
•Out in the spirit realm is the promises of God, out in the spirit realm is the realization of God

•This is how you receive the Word by someone teaching and breaking the Word of God down to you
•Faith has nothing to do with a feeling, a church membership
•Faith comes from hearing God speak
•Hearing: the channel God uses, more than a sound hitting an ear it means receiving, understanding, and inwardly accepting what is heard
•Faith is born when God’s word is heard
•Praise and worship opens up your spirit to receive
•Faith is not self generated, not by positive thinking, you have to grasp what God said
•Read your bible even when you don’t understand it, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal it to you
•The Word reveals who God is, What Christ has done, what God promises are, tells you what is required of you
•God is broadcasting and you have to tune in to what He is saying
•We have to recognize God is always speaking whether you hear Him or not
•Tune in!!!
•The sound that changes everything!
•There’s a sound that not just inform the mind but transform the heart; that sound is the Word of God
•What God can give you, money can’t buy
•Not every sound carries life
•Read, Read, Read
•Some people know everybody business but dont know the Word of God
•God’s Word is not empty
•You want to prosper get the Word
•The Word brings revelation, conviction, healing, deliverance, and salvation
•(John 6:63)
•The word breaks fear
•Fear brings a prison, lies brings strongholds
•(Joshua 1:8)
•Constant Word produce constant Faith
•Weak Faith comes from a weak Word intake
•Little Word/Little Faith, Much Faith/Strong Faith
•How do you receive? By reading the Word of God…

•Grace is not a reward for good behavior; it is God’s kindness towards an undeserving people
•Romans 3:24 •Justified: as though I have never sinned
•Isaiah 55:1(we can’t pay for His grace)
•Grace: God made the first move towards us
•We cannot forgive ourselves for our own sin
•You have to have faith
•Faith: how we receive what God provides, the channel which through God flows, accessing the blood of Jesus properly
Faith:Trust in God, relying on His work, resting in His promise; when we see something in the Word we have to apply to our lives as an owner
•You can’t do this by yourself you need something greater than you
•The devil gives a temporary fix then take it away
•I don’t want a temporary fix I want what God has for me
•God is not caught up in numbers, He is caught up in your heart
•Isaiah 64:6
•Grace is a gift you don’t have to work for it
•Gifts must be received
•ITS A GIFT!!!
•Satan wants you to believe you have to work hard for it, like you have to be a slave for it
•The devil makes you believe you have to live a flawless life to have it
•God knows how to deal with your weaknesses so why are we judging other people weakness, take care of your own
•God knows how to deal with our shortcomings
•When the enemy is attacking you, you have to know how to activate all the benefits of the cross
•The devil knows you have benefits, he just don’t want you to know it
•Great things happen by faith
•Luke 15:25-31(The elder son didn’t know how to access it by Faith)
•All you have to do is receive it!!
•We had it the whole time and didn’t know it!!!
•They didn’t know how to access it by faith and grace
•The enemy want us to sit in church and our eyes blinded to it and not access it
•Everything that God has already belongs to you
•You can have it anytime you want it by faith!!!
