What a blessed time we had at St. Peter MB Church today! Praises went up and blessings came down as we gathered together to worship and lift up the name of our Lord and Savior.

We were honored to welcome Minister Jamone Edwards and his family from West Batesville Church in Batesville, Mississippi. Minister Edwards delivered a powerful message from 2 Chronicles 20:12 entitled, “Their Eyes Were Watching God.”
He shared three inspiring reasons why we should keep our eyes on God:�• His Past Participation�• His Present Partnership�• His Pending Promises
We sincerely thank Minister Edwards, his lovely wife Angela, and daughter for worshiping with us today.

Our youth enjoyed a wonderful “Children’s Hour” led by Sis. Alexis Webb. She taught the children about the importance of doing good deeds for others—whether for a friend, parent, or anyone in need—and how God blesses us when we show kindness and love to others.

We were also blessed to receive five candidates for baptism:�• Sister Tameka House and her children, Ja’Tyia Robertson and Teshidron Taylor�• Lil’ Cason Griffin�• Lil’ Serenity Fonville
Baptism will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. We ask that you keep these candidates in your prayers as they continue their walk with Christ.

The Final Run of the Kentucky Derby of Pastor and First Lady Draper's 23rd Anniversary Celebration began at 2:00 p.m. Their escorts were Minister Earnest Rudd and Sister Duwanna Rudd. Our special guest was Pastor Fred Butts and the Hunter's Chapel Baptist Church Family of Como, Mississippi. Pastor Butts delivered an inspiring message from Joshua 1:5, entitled, "You Can Depend on the Lord." His powerful sermon reminded us that God's presence, promises, and faithfulness never fail.

As we celebrated Pastor and First Lady Draper, we reflected on their remarkable journey together. Like champions at the Kentucky Derby, they have endured the race with grace, determination, and unwavering trust in the Lord. Their lives remind us that true victory comes not from speed alone, but from faithfulness to the One who leads the way.

For 23 years, they have faithfully served God's people, standing strong through every season and continuing to lead with love, wisdom, and dedication. We pray that God will continue to bless their union, strengthen their ministry, and crown their years together with joy, peace, and abundant favor.

The race is long, but God's grace is sufficient. Congratulations to Pastor and First Lady Draper on 23 blessed years of service, leadership, and love.

St. Peter MB Church Pastor and Wife 23rd Anniversary was truly a blessing. This years theme was “Kentucky Derby”. Like champions at the Kentucky Derby they have faithfully ran the race of ministry together. Through every season, they have remained steadfast in faith, united in love, and committed to God’s calling. Pastor Draper and First Lady Draper enjoyed a full week of being shown just how much they are loved and appreciated.
On Sunday, part one of the grand finale began at 10:00 a.m. with our special guests, Pastor Randy Dandridge and the McIvor Creek MB Church of Sardis, MS. Pastor Dandridge delivered a powerful and inspiring message entitled, "What's in Store for God's Chosen."
Following the worship service, members and guests gathered in the fellowship hall for a delicious brunch filled with food, fellowship, and celebration. We thank God for Pastor Draper and First Lady Draper and pray His continued blessings upon them as they faithfully serve His people.
