**Your church isn't unhealthy just because it's small.**

Sometimes we measure the health of a church by the easiest number to see: attendance.

But a church of 40 can have strong leadership, healthy ministry systems, engaged members, meaningful outreach, and a clear sense of mission.

And a church of 400 can struggle with those very same things.

The goal for every small church shouldn't be to imitate a large church.

The goal should be to become a **healthy, effective church with the people and resources God has entrusted to you.**

So instead of only asking, “How can we get bigger?” perhaps we should also ask:

**“Where does our church need to become healthier?”**

What would you say is one sign of a healthy church?
