Have you ever looked at a fruit tree and wondered how you can tell if it's healthy?

The answer is simple: look for the fruit.

Jesus used that same illustration in Luke 13 when He told the Parable of the Fig Tree. The lesson wasn't about gardening—it was about our hearts. While it's easy to look at the struggles and tragedies of others and assume they must deserve them, Jesus calls us to look inward instead.

Are we bearing the fruit that comes from a life transformed by Christ? Do our actions, attitudes, and character reflect the work of the Holy Spirit?

God's mercy gives us time to grow, repent, and become fruitful. The question is: What kind of fruit is our life producing?
