Our Special Monthly Envelope in June supports the work of Habitat for Humanity ( https://www.habitat.org/ ). Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that helps people build, repair and improve homes and neighborhoods, particularly in urban areas, by working with communities to address their housing needs.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps people in your community and around the world build or improve a place they can call home. Donate, volunteer and raise your voice in support of decent and affordable housing.

Members of the New York City Ballet Musicians and Friends will perform a fund-raising concert at Bethesda on Thursday 4 June at 6:30 pm. The violinist, Luellen Abdoo and pianist, Christopher Oldfather will perform music of Mozart, Brahms, and Philip Glass. Admission by donation ($30.00 / person or $50.00 for two people).

Excelsior Vocal Ensemble presents Morte E Amore, Italian choral treasures of loss and love spanning four centuries, on Sunday, May 17 at 3pm at Bethesda. Featuring Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, in a dramatic arrangement for chorus and string quartet, as well as works by Monteverdi, Palestrina, and Pizzetti. Andrew Burger, artistic director. Donations from the Monthly Envelope in May will be directed to the Beaver Cross Camp Scholarship Fund (https://www.beavercrossministries.org/summer-camp.html ). Beaver Cross, our diocesan camp in Greenwich, NY, seeks to make its 11 summer programs available to every eligible child who wishes to participate in its activities, regardless of a family’s financial circumstances. Each year, funds are raised to meet the need for scholarships. Please support this enriching experience for children.

Special Monthly Envelope Donations in April will be directed to the Thomas T. Parke Music Fund. Fr Parke was Rector of Bethesda from 1968 to 2012. In recognition of his commitment to the liturgical and musical life of the parish, a fund was established in his name which would provide additional financial support to our choral program throughout the year. Thank you for your generosity to the ministry of music at Bethesda.

Palm Sunday - 8am Holy Communion & 10am Procession and Sung Eucharist
Tuesday in Holy Week - Holy Communion 7pm
Wednesday in Holy Week - Stations of the Cross at 7pm
Maundy Thursday - Liturgy at 7pm
Good Friday - Liturgy at 12.10pm
