Wow... HalleluYah!

It really makes sense when you find out that in Aramaic, Barabbas is a two part word. BAR meaning - son of. ABBAS meaning the father.
So literally the crowd was screaming for the innocent SON of the FATHER to take the place of the guilty son of of the father. They were proclaiming the gospel and had no clue.
Makes you cry when you come to this reality. When we say “I am Barabbas”, it’s so much deeper than most us ever realize.

Then there's Pilate. Pilate knew Yahusha was an innocent man. We know Yahusha is the lifestyle we should be living. Pilate cared more about what the people were going to say/do and followed the world. Sometimes we do the same thing. That’s why the path to destruction is wide and the path to righteousness is narrow. We must die to the flesh daily and follow Him if we want the path of righteousness 🙏🏽.
