"Then Jesus said, 'Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light" Matthew 11:28-30 (NLT)

Another translation:
"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me- watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly". Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG)

✨Volunteer Spotlight ✨
This month we’re celebrating Jenna, a Lead Pre-K Teacher on the Kids Team!
Jenna plays a vital role in our Kids Ministry. Her heart is full of love, kindness, and fun. We’re so grateful for her constant dedication! She shows up each week with a willingness to serve and to love the kids SO WELL. Jenna’s smile, laughter, and joy are contagious, and her gifts are so important in our classrooms.

A few fun facts about Jenna:
• From: Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, and moved here a year ago for her remote job as a Healthcare Analyst!
• Family: She’s a middle sibling, sandwiched between an older brother and younger brother
• Her go-to coffee order: Vanilla iced coffee
• Huge lover of: Dogs, the beach, hiking, mountains, and sports!
• One thing most people would be shocked to know: She loves line dancing!
• A behind-the-scenes Kids Team moment that makes her smile: There was a day that the kids put goldfish crackers over their eyes and all started yelling, “GOLDFISH EYES!!!” and it was SO funny. It also makes Jenna laugh when they ask, “Do you have a mommy, too?”
• What makes Coastline feel like home to her:
Jenna was on our launch team and helped paint the church before Coastline opened. Seeing the growth and being a part of that process is near and dear to her. What REALLY makes it feel like home to her is the community and the way everyone feels like family!

If you see Jenna on a Sunday, say hi and thank her for all she does. She’s such a blessing to our Kids Team and our church family!

You don’t need to be a “church person” to belong here. Coastline is a community centered on Jesus, but filled with people from all kinds of backgrounds… people asking questions, rebuilding faith, carrying hurt, searching for purpose, or just looking for friends.
