You know the person who gets interrupted every time they try to speak in a meeting? Give them a chance to finish today. Something as simple as, “I’d like to hear the rest of what you were saying” can help someone feel valued.

Jesus calls us to love our neighbors, and that includes the people we work with. Pay attention to who gets overlooked and use your voice to make room for theirs.

Anxiety will try to make you solve tomorrow before today is even over. It’ll replay conversations, invent worst-case scenarios, and keep you carrying things God never asked you to carry alone.

Philippians 4:6–7 tells us to bring everything to God in prayer. So when your mind starts racing, don’t just rehearse the fear.

Name it, pray about it, and hand it over.

He called you with your nerves, your past, your questions, and the parts of your story you still wish looked different. Moses had excuses, Peter had failures, and Jeremiah felt unqualified, but God knew all of that before He called them.

At some point, “I’m not ready” becomes another way of saying, “God, I don’t trust You to equip me.”
