We are excited to announce upcoming information meetings for the Annual Women’s Christmas Brunch. This brunch is Women’s Ministry’s biggest outreach event with over 300 ladies attending. Whether you’re a returning volunteer or interested in helping for the first time, these meetings will provide all the details you need to join us in making this beloved event a memorable and joyful occasion for our church community.
Meeting Details:
Date: Tuesday, August 26 at 11:30 AM or
Date: Wednesday, August 27 at 5:30PM

About the Christmas Brunch
The Women’s Ministry Christmas Brunch will take place on December 6, bringing together women of all ages for fellowship, encouragement, and celebration of Jesus’ birth. This cherished tradition is only possible with the dedication and creativity of volunteers like you.

How You Can Get Involved
There are many ways to contribute:
Decorating and/or hosting a table
Pre-event food prep and cleanup
Sending thank you notes
Welcoming guests and facilitating connections
Assisting with setup and cleanup
And much more….

Join a Meeting to Learn More
Attend one of the meetings to discover how you can play a vital role in this year’s Christmas Brunch. You’ll have the chance to ask questions, meet fellow volunteers, and sign up for specific roles.

The Women’s Ministry Team plans our Bible Studies with you in mind!!
Offering different studies on different days and different times with the hope that one (or more) of these work for you!!
This fall we have studies in:
*Philippians—Tuesday mornings led by Adela D. beginning September 2nd
*Colossians & Philemon—Wednesday mornings led by Juanita D. beginning September 3rd
*The Westminster Confession of Faith—Wednesday mornings led by Miriam M. beginning September 3rd
*1&2 Peter—Wednesday evenings led by
Pat G. beginning September 3rd
*Soup & Savor—The Book of John—Wednesday evenings led by Hannah H. beginning September 3rd
*The Word of the Lord, Seeing Jesus in the Prophets—Wednesday mornings led by Carol A. and Juanita D. beginning November 5th
*Advent of the Savior—Tuesday mornings led by Adela D. beginning November 11th

VBS ANNOUNCEMENTS
We are getting excited for VBS next week. We have worked hard this week decorationg, setting up rooms and preparing fun snacks..
We are looking forward to greeting and sharing the gospel with over 200 kids. Please keep everyone in your prayers.

BUT we could still use some help!
Due to Sunday morning worship and discipleship classes, we will need a few people to help (hopefully very briefly) after the service on Sunday, to do a few things that we cannot do ahead of time. If you are able to help, meet at the Welcome Desk after church.

For one of our science experiments, we need 2-liter bottles. If you have them or feel the calling to finish off some liquids in one so that we can have them, we’d love your donations. You can bring them to the Welcome Desk on Sunday or drop them off in the office early next week.

One other thing we do each year is ask for snacks for our volunteers. If you are able to drop off snacks (cookies, brownies, fruit, bags of chips, etc.) for our volunteers please drop them off in the office - we will need some each day.

Pursuing All Ladies Mixer

Ladies - are you new over the last several months? Join us on Saturday, June 7th at 10:00 am for a new ladies’ WELCOME BRUNCH here at Covenant Life. Come for a bite to eat, hear more about the church and see what opportunites we have that you might like to get involved in.

Please come to the Welcome Desk after church on Sunday to meet our Director of Womens’ Ministry, Deb Raduns, and get signed up.
