Celebration of Hope Awards Dinner

Helen, Ann, and Nikki were proud and humbled to attend the annual Take Stock in Children Awards Dinner. During the evening, Lisa Bechtold, the executive director, shared the inspiring story of how, more than 20 years ago, while jogging along Midnight Pass Road with her infant son Dylan in a stroller, she stopped at St. Boniface seeking support for her organization. From that moment, a lasting commitment was formed.

Today, St. Boniface is honored to be part of the incredible impact that Take Stock in Children has made through the years. Each year, we hear inspiring stories of students whose lives have been transformed as they pursue their dreams through education. This year alone, more than 130 students graduated from the program and will be attending colleges throughout Florida and across the United States.

These achievements would not be possible without the generosity and dedication of the many donors, volunteers, and mentors who faithfully support TSIC. St. Boniface would welcome additional mentors to help guide and encourage these students on their journeys to becoming future leaders.

Newsflash…Today, little Dylan is now 22 years old and has become a mentor for TSIC!
