On June 17 at 7 PM, we will gather with our partners at Greater Hurst Chapel AME Church for our annual Juneteenth Celebration. Our theme this year is Bridging the Promise.
Juneteenth reminds us that freedom delayed is still injustice. Even after emancipation was declared, many did not receive the promise of liberation until much later, and many of those promises remain unfulfilled even now.
Together, we will remember the promises made, tell the truth about the work still ahead, and recommit ourselves to becoming the bridge toward justice and repair
