📖 Sermon Recap | Revelation 1:1-3
This Sunday, we began our new series, Letters from Jesus: What Christ Speaks to His Church Today.
When many people think of Revelation, they think of mystery, end-times debates, or confusing symbolism. But the very first words of the book remind us what Revelation is truly about:
"The Revelation of Jesus Christ."
Revelation wasn't given to create fear. It was given to reveal Jesus, strengthen His people, and call us to faithful endurance.
Three blessings from Revelation 1:1-3:
✨ The Blessing of Jesus Christ
The focus of Revelation is not the Antichrist, dragons, or timelines...it's Jesus. He is King, He is reigning, and He is coming again.
📖 The Blessing of God's Word
God speaks through His Word. Revelation invites us to know Christ more deeply and trust His sovereign plan.
❤️ The Blessing of Obedience
God's Word wasn't given merely to satisfy curiosity; it was given to transform us. Blessed are those who hear His Word and keep it.
As believers, we're called to live with holy urgency. Jesus is coming again. Until then, may we faithfully follow Him, cling to His Word,
and make every day count for His glory.
Jesus is speaking to His church. Are we listening?
