You know something special is going on when an 8th grader seeks out an adult who impacted his life more than 3 years ago. ✨

Ms. Kay has been an every week volunteer in our 4th and 5th Grade 10:30 class for years. Her consistency and care have helped multiply the impact she has on these kids. They feel safe, seen, and cared for by her quiet presence. So much that they continue to find her for a quick hug. Thanks Ms. Kay for the time you spend pouring into the lives of these kids. It makes a difference. 💛

At Suncoast Kids, we actively work to build relationships with our kids. We want them to feel known and cared for even more than we want them to remember our lessons. Research shows that relationships (particularly multigenerational connections) at church are a huge part of what keeps kids engaged at church past college age. We work hard to build that into all that we do here!
