In May, FCC Sapulpa JOYned Together Women's Ministry was blessed to attend the Grand Opening of Macy's Clinic, the first and only crisis pregnancy center in Creek County. JT 'gifted' them with numerous items from their Mothers and Babies Wishlist.
We have made the decision to continue to support them in various ways throughout the year, including Wishlist items, financially and through volunteer opportunities. 💜

2025 has continued to be a very active time for FCC Sapulpa JOYned Together Women's Ministry. In addition to the weekly Chair Exercise Classes and Bible Study, we have celebrated several birthdays and enjoyed lunch out on the last Thursday of each month.
January and February were bitter cold, so many activities were canceled. We didn't 'take to the road' until March. We were excited to finally be able to get out for dinner and a concert at 5 West Outpost in Sand Springs.
In April, 15 JT ladies made our 2nd trip to Muskogee for a delicious lunch at Harmony House and a tour of Honor Heights Park. The azaleas were in full bloom! We enjoyed shopping at the plant sale and brought lots of lovely flowers and plants home for our gardens. 💜

2024 included a lot of monthly activities. Our calendars were always full. Many of our children and grandchildren have remarked that we "are busier than anyone in the family!" We think that's a good thing! 😄
The year included several road trips, concerts, lots of eating out, Fall Fest and other service opportunities, Balcony Women annual widows' events and surprising our 'non-widow' members with a surprise Valentine party just for them. Of course we celebrated the holidays and (thankfully) lots of birthdays. Our most 'unique' birthday was for one of our members who was born during a Leap Year. She was finally turning 13 and officially a teenager! 💜

The "JOYned Together Grammies" were born in 2023 when JT 'adopted' the Tulsa Girls Home in Sapulpa. In 2024, we continued monthly activities with the girls until late last year after they made the move to Jenks.
In addition to many other activities, one of the highlights of 2024 was a formal tea we had for the girls the week after prom. They looked beautiful in their formals and actually cried when each one was given a beautiful, vintage tea cup and saucer.
In May of that year we were invited to attend the Open House in the new TGH home in Jenks. To say we were treated as 'royalty' would be an understatement! Everyone seemed to know and want to talk to "the Grammies!" We had all been presented earlier with pink tees that read, "Tulsa Girls' Home Grammy."
After moving many of the girls we had known had graduated from high school and left TGH. At that time we made the difficult but prayerful decision to seek God's guidance for a new opportunity in Sapulpa. 💜

In 2024 we continued our weekly Tuesday Chair Exercise Class and Thursday Bible Study. Both continue to meet at FCC at 10:30. In 2025, we were blessed to add another exercise class at Foundation Church/Sapulpa on Thursdays at 2:30.
JT sponsors these classes BUT, all ladies are welcome to attend any of these classes regardless of church affiliation OR marital status. 💜

After taking a 'sabbatical' from social media (but not from FCC Sapulpa JOYned Together Women's Ministry ) we are back.
It's time to catch up and let you in on some of what "JT has been up to!" We have started our 6th year of ministry to ladies. 😊
So much has happened since we last posted ...
So much fun, so much laughter, so many friendships made, lots of opportunities for service, so much growth spiritually and in our numbers (Our God gave the increase! 🙌), lots & lots of prayers said and answered (JT ladies have become known far and wide as fervent, faithful Prayer Warriors!🙏) and an abundance of JOY even in our times of sorrow, as we have said "we'll see you again" to some of our dearly loved members who are now with the Lord. 💜
Our founding scripture holds true: "Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning."
~Psalm 30:5b~

FCC Sapulpa JOYned Together Women's Ministry 'adopted' the Tulsa Girls Home last year and have been enjoying a monthly activity every month since this time last year. From baking to bowling; planting flowers or decorating Easter eggs the girls know that the "Grammies" (what they call us) will show up with lots of goodies and loads of fun! We specialize in laughter and love and the girls know we genuinely care about them. They are seen; we know their names and we bring them before God's throne regularly.
This opportunity has come with a multitude of blessings not only for the girls but for us ladies, most of who are widows ...
Imagine the day a childless friend first heard one of these precious girls call her "Gramma Jo." She had never heard those words before; never thought she would. There were happy tears in all our eyes. We are so very blessed!! ✝️🙌💜

JT GRAMMAS ❤️ TGH GIRLS!!
The FCC Sapulpa JOYned Together Women's Ministry 'adopted' the Tulsa Girls Home a year ago this month and JOYfully became the girl's "JT Grammas/Grammies!" We have visited the girls every month, sharing our love and fun activities each time. From pumpkin painting; Thanksgiving baking; seeing a play for the Christmas holidays; a Back-to-School Bash at a fun local restaurant (pictured) and many other things, we have grown in our love for each one of the girls.
The JT Grammas believe that these relationships have been built on unconditional love and acceptance; consistency; shared laughter and sometimes tears but most of all the prayers that we have said regularly for the girls and those who care for them.
We are blessed to be a very small part of their lives, yet we know we bring the invaluable light and love of Christ--by our deeds far more than our words--each time we are together. Priceless!! ✝️🙏💜

WE ARE A COLORFUL & BUSY BUNCH!! 💜
In addition to our special activities, 'outings' and service projects, JOYned Together meets twice weekly on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 10:30.
On Tuesdays we offer a Chair Exercise Class for all ladies. The chair is there for support/balance but we are mostly up on our feet. At various times we use free weights; exercise bands and balls. Balance, strength, flexibility and continued mobility are our goals. Dress is casual.
On Thursdays we work on our 'spiritual fitness' with a verse-by-verse Bible study. We begin with light freshments and fellowship and end with prayer requests and praise reports. This group loves to eat out! The picture is of some of the ladies at our last monthly lunch.
JOYned Together sponsors these classes and welcomes all ladies regardless of church affiliation or marital staus.
