We are a Christ-Centered Church with the goal of being the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. The Bible calls the Church the Body of Christ, that is a big calling and one that involves so much more than just meeting together on a Sunday. We at Carlton Oaks Baptist Church will be hosting a number of service activities, mission opportunities, and outreach encounters, designed to live up to this great calling on the church.

FROM HISTORICAL EVENT TO LIVING HOPE

The resurrection was not merely an event to be observed—it is a truth to be lived. What the disciples saw with their eyes, believers now embrace by faith. The same voice that called “Mary” calls each of us out of despair into the joy of eternal fellowship. The empty tomb stands as the unchanging assurance that Christ’s work is finished and His presence continues among His people.

This week Pastor Craig continues in the Gospel According to John withThe Meaning of the Empty Tomb. We witness Mary’s grief transformed into joy as she meets the risen Christ. The message unfolds the divine implications of the resurrection—revealing the Lord’s peace, power, and personal relati...

From Empty Tomb to Living Hope

The empty tomb was not merely a historical event—it is the foundation of our faith. The same Christ who rose bodily from the grave now reigns and intercedes for His people. For the original witnesses, the tomb testified that God’s promises are true; for believers today, it declares that our hope is secure, and our salvation is complete.

This week Pastor Craig leads us through the account of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. We will behold the reality of His suffering and death, the assurance of His burial in fulfillment of prophecy, and the triumph of His resurrection that shatters the power of sin and death. These truths...

Psalm 110 “The Pre-Existent Priest-King”

The original audience heard David’s prophetic vision of a coming King-Priest who would rule in righteousness and mediate divine favor. Today, we look upon that promise fulfilled in Jesus Christ, exalted at the right hand of the Father. The same Lord who subdues His enemies now intercedes for His saints, securing our salvation and summoning us to serve Him with steadfast faith.

This week Pastor Jesse proclaims The Pre-Existent Priest-King from Psalm 110, revealing Christ’s eternal reign and priestly intercession. The message exalts the risen Lord who sits at the Father’s right hand, ruling in power and extending mercy to all who believe.

John 19:30 “It Is Finished”

The message of “It Is finished” echoed first across Golgotha’s hill, but its reverberations reach every believing heart today. What was once a cry from the lips of the dying Savior now stands as a song of eternal assurance. The original audience witnessed prophecy fulfilled; today, we rest in its unchanging truth—the saving work of Christ lacks nothing.

This week Pastor Craig delivers a message on the profound declaration from the cross, where Christ announced the complete accomplishment of redemption. The sermon reveals the triumph of divine purpose, the fulfillment of prophecy, and the peace that flows from a finished salvation.

John 19:17-30 "The Triumph of the Cross"

The cross was more than an ex*****on; it was God’s throne of grace. What appeared as defeat was in truth the greatest victory. For the original audience, John’s Gospel unveiled the fulfillment of prophecy and the identity of Jesus as King, Priest, Son, and Lamb. For us today, it calls us to believe, worship, and live in the triumph secured at Calvary.

This week Pastor Craig preaches The Triumph of the Cross from John 19:17–30. In Christ’s final moments, we see His kingship, priesthood, sonship, and sacrificial love revealed, declaring once and for all: “It is finished.” The cross was more than an ex*****on; it was God’s throne of grace...

Psalm 92 “Ceaseless Worship” by Craig Barnett

Psalm 92 trains the church to worship without intermission—marveling at God’s works, trusting His victory, and flourishing in His house. Sabbath praise becomes weekday perseverance, and saints become evergreen.

Worship is not an interlude; it is the very life of the believer. Psalm 92—the Psalm for the Sabbath—calls us to proclaim the LORD’s steadfast love in the morning and His faithfulness at night. We rejoice in His mighty works, rest secure in His triumph over the wicked, and take hold of His pro...
