Beautifully said. Thanks The Quest for being who you are. We echo your words - May we also continue the work of building communities where freedom, dignity, and belonging are not just ideals, but realities for all.

Today we honor Juneteenth, the day news of emancipation finally reached enslaved people in Texas, more than two years after freedom had legally been declared.

We celebrate the resilience, faith, courage, and contributions of Black Americans. We also remember that freedom delayed is freedom denied.

As followers of Jesus, we believe that truth matters, liberation matters, and every person bears the image of God.

May we continue the work of building communities where freedom, dignity, and belonging are not just ideals, but realities for all.
