Happy Father's Day to all the fathers, grandfathers, godfathers, and father figures in our parish family!
Today's Gospel reminds us of the words of Jesus: "Do not be afraid." (Matthew 10:26-33)
In a world filled with uncertainty, fathers are called to lead their families with courage, trust, and faith in God. During today's homily, Fr. Daniel reminded us that even the best father can only reflect a small portion of our Heavenly Father who loves us perfectly, provides for us, supports us, and desires only what is best for His children.
Your children do not need a perfect father; they need a faithful father. A father who prays. A father who brings his family to Mass. A father who asks forgiveness when he is wrong. A father who shows by his example that God comes first.
Today we thank all the men who strive to live this calling each day. May the Lord strengthen them to lead with humility, sacrifice, and love, never being afraid to witness to their faith and place their trust in God.
Happy Father's Day! May St. Joseph, protector of the Holy Family, intercede for all fathers and guide them closer to the heart of Christ.
