The Church must PRAY.

It isn't enough to play our games and put on our programs. They are nothing without prayer.

There are shakings happening in the world today that require a praying Church.

Pray for the Middle East - for Iran and Israel. Pray for peace. Pray for revival. Pray for the Gospel to be preached and souls to know Jesus. Pray for wisdom for governments and leaders. Pray for the fear of the Lord to fall on nations.

********Huge Announcement*******

It is with sadness and excitement that we officially announce the merging of our Encounter family with Church Unstoppable. We are beyond grateful for the deep work the Lord has done over these last twelve years. And while we honor the past with all its victories and challenges, we are excited for the legacy of presence, prayer and revival that will remain alive at our Stony Point campus as Church Unstoppable.

Our final Sunday as Encounter City Church will be this Sunday January 19 followed by lunch at the church parsonage immediately after. We would love to see all our Encounter family for this special day as we celebrate the goodness of God.

Our first service together with Church Unstoppable will be Sunday January 26th at Church Unstoppable’s Lombardi campus.

Pastor Debbie and I want you all to know how much we love you and how dear you are to our hearts. You all have been our greatest joy. Change is hard, seasons come and they go but we still believe our best days are still ahead of all of us.

There is an urgency for prayer over California right now. Pray for rain to fall on the state of California and communities to be restored. Pray comfort and strength for the people who have lost so much. Pray endurance and safety over the hands and feet working to rescue lives. Pray for the disaster relief efforts to come. Lord Jesus, we trust you, and we cry out for our brothers and sisters in California right now.
