May you receive and reflect love, everywhere you go, and know—in your deepest heart and in every day—you matter and you belong.

May you hold on to hope and your inner sparkle even when discouragement and despair beckon.

May the beauty that is you shine out, bright as the stars from which we came and to which we will return.

Together may we make this a place of welcome and healing, of connection and plurality.

Together may we practice compassion and courage, seeing and celebrating and supporting each other.

Together may we be the sparkling force of love that our world needs.

Blessed by this community and by the divine, go forth and celebrate with pride!

- By Hannah Roberts Villnave, Kayla Parker, Caitlin Cotter Coillberg

As we prepare for Pride Sunday, let us say without question that God loves God's q***r children - exactly as they are and as they are becoming. The beloved-ness of God's LGBTQIA2+ beloveds is not up for political debate. Nor is it a matter of public option.

God declares the goodness of all humanity at the very beginning. It is affirmed by God's faithfulness throughout history. Sealed by Christ on the cross. And enlivened by the pouring out of the Holy Spirit on all flesh.

God loves you. God loves God's transgender children. God loves God's q***r children. God loves.

See you in our New York City sanctuary or our online sanctuary at 11am (EST) through YouTube Live () as we welcome and live into the gift of being called God's beloved.

As another week comes to a close, it can be easy to wonder whether the small things we do really matter.

But God often works through simple acts of faithfulness: a word of encouragement, a helping hand, a meal shared, a prayer offered.

We may never know how far those acts travel. What seems ordinary today may become a blessing that reaches far beyond what we can see.

As you head into the weekend, remember that every act of kindness helps build a more compassionate world and reflects Christ's love in ways both visible and invisible.

"So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all." (Galatians 6:10)

May your weekend be filled with opportunities to share grace, hope, and love.

THIRD SUNDAY after PENTECOST
14 June 2026 at 10:30am

All are welcome this Sunday at 10:30am either in person or on YouTube.

SUNDAY SCHOOL and CHILD CARE is on a summer recess and will resume on September 13.

INTRODUCTION to the DAY
Moses tells the Israelites that they are called to be a priestly kingdom and a holy people. Jesus sends out the disciples as laborers into the harvest. In baptism we too are anointed for ministry, sharing God’s compassion with our needy world. From the Lord’s table we go forth to proclaim the good news, to heal the sick, and to share our bread with the hungry.

SECOND SUNDAY after PENTECOST
June Birthday Blessing
7 June 2026 at 10:30am

All are welcome this Sunday at 10:30am either in person or on YouTube.

SUNDAY SCHOOL and CHILD CARE is on a summer recess and will resume on September 13.

INTRODUCTION to the DAY
Though Jesus was a devout Jew who practiced his faith, he was criticized for eating with tax collectors and sinners—the religiously nonobservant. Jesus criticizes the self-righteous and reminds us that mercy is to be at the heart of our religious practices. God continues to be made known in those on the margins of society, like Matthew the tax collector and the hemorrhaging woman. As we gather each Lord’s day we receive the healing that makes us well and sends us forth to be signs of God’s mercy for the world.
