A Congregation of diverse faiths, that is articulate, creative, innovative, musical and funny. People who work to make the world a better place for all people. We are Advocates for the full inclusion of lgbtq people, people of color, and people with disabilities. We work to help heal Mother Earth.

Celebrating Pride with Jacob Martinez!
Sunday, June 7th at 10:15am at The Church in Ocean Park!

Jacob is a Loyola Marymount student and game designer who recently visited Church in Ocean Park because he was interested in the church’s response to the anti-LGBTQ vandalism. He found a much more personal experience. As a q***r Christian, he is especially grateful to be at CIOP at the start of Pride Month.

We are deeply affected by the shooting at the Mosque in San Diego. We will celebrate the Islamic Holy Day of Arafah on Sunday, May 24th, and we will listen. You are welcome to be a part of a caring community at this important time. 10:15am at The Church In Ocean Park. With Omar Haroon.

The Day of Arafah (9th of Dhu al-Hijjah) is the pinnacle of the Hajj pilgrimage, occurring on May 26, 2026. Pilgrims gather on the plains of Mount Arafat in Saudi Arabia to pray, repent, and hear a sermon, marking the day Islam was perfected.
