The Sandbox is for anyone with an imagination. It’s for folks with something to share and for those looking for a place to belong. The Sandbox is an opportunity for people in LA to feel amazingly welcome, find community, and explore their doubts, beliefs, and creative side. The Sandbox exists for those who don’t quite feel like they fit in and are tired of tryi
ng to be perfect. We want to help people discover the deepest truths of life as we provide a safe place to work through doubt. We want to point folks to the Creator through community, collaboration, and a common desire to create. Along the way, we will embrace failure knowing that mistakes have the ability to make us stronger. But we will also celebrate success and are quick to shout “Huzzah!” when something goes well. Whether you fail or succeed, The Sandbox is a place where you can break camp, find support, dust yourself off, and be encouraged to pursue your dreams. We welcome the writers, dancers, and painters; the beat poets, rappers, and punk-rockers. Whether it’s crochet, macramé, or underwater basket-weaving, bring it. Come all ye woodworkers, designers, and sports enthusiasts. Join us all you actors, musicians, and dare we say…ventriloquists? We’re not sure what this will become, but we know we want to start doing something. So if you have toys and talents to add to The Sandbox, we need you.
