Loving like Jesus! 🤍

Phillips Chapel CME Church’s Community Caring & Sharing Ministry has been an amazing part of our outreach and service to the community. 🙏 What began last year has continued into 2026, and we are grateful for every opportunity God has provided. 🙌

Meeting members of the Santa Monica community allowed us not only to provide clothing, but also to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. ✝️ It was a blessing to watch individuals try on outfits that fit them perfectly, bringing confidence, joy, and transformation right before our eyes.✨

There is something powerful about seeing God work through His people. Through acts of love, compassion, and service, lives are being touched and hearts are being encouraged. ❤️ Watching God move through this ministry continues to remind us that ministry is not just inside the church walls, it is demonstrated through caring for people and meeting needs with the love of Jesus.

Phillips Chapel CME Church is honored to celebrate 120 years of ministry in the beautiful city of Santa Monica as the oldest CME Church in Southern California. ☀️

For generations, we have remained rooted in God’s Word, sharing His love, serving our community, and living out Galatians 6:9:

“Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

As we celebrate our rich legacy, we are also looking ahead. We are prayerfully seeking support to help revitalize our sanctuary, expand our missionary efforts, and provide scholarships for our youth, young adults, and missionaries.🙏

An ever-present help in trouble! ✝️

We live in uncertain times and sometimes it seems hard to keep up with everything that’s going on in the world. It can make us feel helpless. 😕 God’s Word offers reassurance of His protection and steadfastness, even in the midst of overwhelming chaos and calamity! ❤️

Join us this Sunday for another great morning of worship and God’s word! 🙌 Reverend Curry will deliver a message of encouragement from the book of Psalms, entitled “I Believe”! ⛪️
