Celebrate Recovery at PCC

We are CR ❤ We would love to have you join us Friday night. We have an amazing guest speaker giving her testimony: Maria. The Lord continues to do miracles in the lives of our families and friends! Amen.
Come early for a complimentary dinner if you'd like. 6pm
6:30pm Worship
7pm Large group with a Testimony
Afterwards, break off into small groups and then fellowship in Connection Cafe.
Come and see what a 12 step recovery program looks like with Jesus Christ as our healer and redeemer. Any hurt, habit, or hang up! 2 Cor 1:3 "He helps us in our troubles, so we are able to help those who have all kinds of troubles, using the same help that we ourselves have received from God".

Come to CR this Friday!
At 6pm dinner is served. An offering is a blessing but not a requirement.
At 6:30pm Worship starts and is followed by a large group meeting at 7pm.
Every week we alternate between a lesson or testimony. This week is a teaching on Grace. Also it is chip night and Communion.
After large group, the men and women break off into small groups, around 7:30pm-8:15pm.
CR is a safe place to share your struggles and find freedom and healing.
We are a Christ centered 12 step program - and everyone who has hurts, habits, or hangups is welcome 🙏

Large group is at 7pm. Tom will be teaching on Amends.
After large group, the men and women break off into small sharing groups. Stay after small group for Connection Cafe and fellowship with dessert; if you like.

FREEDOM ISN’T JUST POSSIBLE; IT’S REPEATABLE.

At this year’s Celebrate Recovery Summit and Gathering, Rodney Holmstrom shared a powerful message about freedom, shame, and the lies that can keep us stuck:

“You’re not too broken.”

Sometimes the messages we’ve carried from rejection, abandonment, hurt, or our past sound like:

“I’m not enough.”
“I’m too much.”
“I’m unlovable.”
“I’ll be left again.”

When we repeat those messages long enough, they can begin to feel like our identity. But they don't have to be the truth we continue living by.

Through Jesus Christ and the process of recovery, we can begin identifying those lies, bringing them into the light, and replacing them with truth.

As Rodney reminded us:

“Freedom is not only possible, but it’s also repeatable.”

Recovery isn't something we practice once and then graduate from. We continue taking the next right step. We keep working the principles. We stay connected to our sponsor and accountability partners. We continue surrendering to Jesus.

One day at a time. One choice at a time. One step at a time.

What has Celebrate Recovery helped you overcome? For some it was addictions. For others it has been depression, fear, shame, control and anxiety. CR is a Christ centered 12 step program for all kinds of hurts, hangups or habits. One step at a time allow Jesus to heal the broken places in your life. It may seem impossible but Mark 10:27 says " With man this is impossible, but not with God. All things are possible with God. "

Come join us Friday, September 4th in Palmer Hall at PCC. Maria will be teaching lesson 14- Ready. Step 4 and Principle 5 is the time that we take a deeper look inside ourselves. This lesson involves honesty and examining behavior, thoughts, and patterns. It is a crucial step in the recovery process for moving forward in a healthy way. Are you Ready?
