This week, we were reminded that God is often more concerned with our obedience than we are with our own plans.

In Acts 16, an earthquake opened the prison doors and broke the shackles, but Paul and Silas stayed. They could have walked out, but they chose to remain where God had placed them. Their obedience became an opportunity for someone else to encounter Jesus.

Sometimes, God’s will for our lives looks like freedom. Sometimes, it looks like staying. Either way, He is more concerned with our faithfulness than our comfort.

Philippians 4:11 “I have learned, in whatever situation I am in, to be content.”

God is not just after what we do for Him, but after our hearts being surrendered to Him. May we be willing to stay, go, wait, and obey—trusting that His will is better than our own.

Our lives may be the only glimpse of Jesus someone ever sees.

Where do we turn when we need wisdom, guidance, or a little direction?

The world gives us plenty of voices to listen to, but there is something special about coming back to God’s Word. Through the four Gospels, we get to know Jesus—His heart, His love, and the way He calls us to live.

And as we follow Him, our lives get to tell that same story.

For some people, we may be the first glimpse of Jesus they ever see. The way we love, the way we care for others, and the way we live out our faith can gently point them toward Him.

May our lives always reflect the love of the One we follow. 🤍

Monday was messy. Tuesday was heavy. Wednesday didn’t go as planned…

Come to God anyway. 🤍

Your worst moments don’t change who you are to Him. You are still His treasured possession—covered by grace and mercy.

No matter how your week is going, you’re still His. 🕊️

We celebrated a beautiful baptism on sunday and a powerful reminder of God’s faithfulness. 💙

As we looked at the end of the Old Testament and the “silent years” that followed, we were reminded to hold onto the last thing God told you—even when you can’t see what He’s doing yet.

Because the silence doesn’t mean God is absent. Our Savior is present. ✝️

We’re constantly being shaped by one of two kingdoms: the kingdom of self, driven by love of self, or the kingdom of God, driven by love for Him and others.

And the question isn’t just what we believe—it’s what guides us in the little moments.

How do we respond to our enemies?
How do we treat our friends?
How do we love the people closest to us?

Those everyday moments reveal what’s truly guiding our hearts.

Where might God be calling you to repent and choose His kingdom over your own? 🤍

“Thy kingdom come.” 🤍

A reminder that life isn’t about building a kingdom of self, but turning our hearts back toward God and choosing His Kingdom above our own.

Let His Kingdom come. Let His will be done. ✨
