Christ Is Risen

“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” (1 Corinthians 15:55)

This verse is part of Paul's triumphant declaration about Christ's victory over death. Through Jesus' death and resurrection, the power of death has been broken. What was once humanity's greatest enemy no longer has the final word for those who belong to Christ. Death's "sting" is sin, and sin's power is rooted in separation from God. But Jesus took that sting upon Himself at the cross and rose again in victory. Because of Him, believers can face the future with hope rather than fear. Physical death is no longer an end but a doorway into eternal life with God.

Paul's words are not merely a future promise; they are a present source of courage. The resurrection assures us that God is greater than every loss, disappointment, and hardship we experience. Even when circumstances seem overwhelming, we can live confidently knowing that Christ has already secured the ultimate victory. When fear of the unknown arises, remember that Jesus has conquered the grave. The same power that raised Him from the dead is at work in His people today, strengthening faith, renewing hope, and reminding us that God's promises are certain.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Jesus to conquer sin and death. Because of His resurrection, I have hope that reaches beyond this life. Help me to trust You when fear tries to take hold of my heart. Remind me that the grave has no victory over those who belong to Christ. Strengthen my faith to live with courage, joy, and confidence in Your promises. May I walk each day in the power of Christ's victory and share the hope of the gospel with others. In Jesus' name, Amen!

El distorsionador

Cuando el pueblo de Dios, su Amado, obedeció al Archinémesis al comienzo de esta gran historia, toda la creación de Dios cayó. Todavía vivimos en un mundo roto hoy. Si bien el mundo en el que vivimos está destrozado, no ha sido destruido. Está roto como en "no arreglado". Aún se pueden ver las huellas dactilares del gran héroe. Y a medida que obra en y a través de su Amado, sus caminos y su reino se extienden.

Jesús nos dijo que le pidiéramos a Dios que extendiera aún más su reino (ver Mateo 6:10). Pero Satanás, el gran corruptor, quiere detenerlo todo. Aunque es pura maldad, Satanás tiene que luchar dentro de sus limitaciones. Él no es un creador. Si lo fuera, podría crear una serie de nuevos seres para luchar contra el Amado. Pero él no puede crear como Dios puede hacerlo. Sólo puede distorsionar. Corrompó a los ángeles que se unieron a su rebelión y solo pudo robar de lo que Dios ya había creado. Y todavía ahora, él y sus seguidores ángeles caídos sólo pueden interferir con lo que existe. Como un hongo o un parásito, toman algo bueno y lo infectan.

El Archinémesis busca romper familias fuertes y buenas relaciones, haciendo lo que sea necesario para derribarlas. Él corrompe la sexualidad. Dado que es uno de los inventos hermosos y creativos de Dios para el matrimonio, Satanás lo ha atacado fervientemente promoviéndolo como algo que todos deberían hacer, en cualquier momento, sin reglas.

El Enemigo persigue todo lo que Dios dice que es bueno. Y a medida que aceptamos sus corrupciones, nos ponemos sus cadenas. Dado que el Archinémesis es principalmente un distorsionador, puedes saber que el objetivo de sus ataques es algo bueno. Si es bueno y del héroe, vale la pena luchar por algo. Presta atención al mundo que te rodea. Busque los ataques del Archinémesis. Descubra lo que busca y defiéndalo.

Querido Padre Celestial, venga tu reino, hágase tu voluntad, tanto en la tierra como en el cielo. Gobierna en mi corazón y en cada área de mi vida. Ayúdame a buscar Tus propósitos por encima de mis propios deseos y a confiar en Tu sabiduría en todas las cosas. Enséñame a seguir Tu voluntad con obediencia, humildad y fe. The Fight Within

We often continue to live in sin rather than to wage war to destroy it. We allow sin to reign rather than dethroning it. We succumb to defeat rather than learning the countermeasures that lead to victory. Before we beat ourselves up too much, we can find comfort in the apostle Paul’s confession that he too struggled with sin. He recognized that he couldn’t escape being a sinner. Yet because sin ultimately leads to death, if he didn’t deal with it his sin would destroy him. He had a fight on his hands, one he waged daily.

How can we win the fight and defeat the power of sin? Honestly, we can’t. We possess neither the strength nor the moral completeness to win such a monumental battle. For victory we must, like Paul, rely solely on Jesus Christ. His sacrifice on the cross, bearing the sins of all human beings, provides our only hope for dethroning the power of sin. Sin is too serious to face alone. Victory over sin requires calling on Jesus, the Victor, all day and every day.

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your grace and mercy through Jesus Christ. Thank You that I am no longer a slave to sin but have been given the opportunity to live in freedom through obedience to You. Lord, help me not to take Your grace for granted. Guard my heart from choosing sin and from anything that draws me away from Your will. Teach me to surrender every part of my life to You my thoughts, words, actions, and desires so that I may become an instrument of righteousness.

Father, I confess that apart from You, I am weak. Strengthen me by Your Spirit to resist temptation and to walk faithfully in obedience. Help me to pursue holiness each day, growing in character and reflecting the love and truth of Christ. Thank You that through Jesus I have been set free from the bo***ge of sin and brought into a relationship with You. Remind me that the wages of sin is death, but Your gift is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. May I live with gratitude for this priceless gift and honor You in all that I do.
Guide my steps, Lord, and keep my heart focused on things that bring glory to Your name. Let my life bear fruit that points others to You and reflects the transforming power of Your grace. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen!

¿Cómo podemos obtener la victoria sobre nuestros pecados secretos?

Sería maravilloso si nuestra relación con Jesús erradicara el atractivo de la oscuridad que tanto prevalece en este mundo, pero eso no sucederá en esta vida. Y ya sea a través de Internet, la televisión, el bolso, la lengua o el estómago, la mayoría de nosotros estamos íntimamente familiarizados con la implacable persistencia de los pecados secretos.

La conquista de estos pecados persistentes sólo puede comenzar cuando decidimos que queremos cambiar. Nos apresuramos a decir que queremos ser libres. Pero podemos obtener “beneficios” (placer, poder, influencia y ego) de estos pecados. ¿Realmente queremos vivir sin estos “amigos”? ¿Realmente queremos ser sanados? Nunca nos liberaremos hasta que creamos que la vida sin nuestros pecados secretos es mejor, en todos los sentidos, que la vida con ellos.

El otro ingrediente de la victoria es invitar a otros a la lucha. El ciclo del pecado está alimentado por el secreto. Es posible que hayamos confesado estos pecados a Dios innumerables veces, pero los escondemos de los demás porque tenemos miedo de arriesgar la estima de las personas. Pero la transparencia y la humildad ante los demás es una oportunidad para fortalecer nuestra creencia de que Dios nos ha perdonado. Proporciona responsabilidad en nuestro crecimiento espiritual. Y tal vez debamos preocuparnos más por ofender a Dios con nuestra desobediencia perpetua y menos por las opiniones de nuestros amigos.

El pecado crece en la oscuridad. El salmista dijo: “Pusiste nuestras iniquidades delante de ti, nuestros pecados secretos a la luz de tu presencia” (Sal 90:8). La luz destruye la oscuridad. La forma de asestar un golpe fatal a los pecados secretos es decidir finalmente que queremos ser libres y luego invitar a un amigo de confianza a nuestra batalla.

Querido Padre Celestial, gracias por Tu gracia y misericordia que continuamente transforman mi vida. Tu Palabra me llama a dejar de lado la ira, la ira, la malicia, la calumnia y las palabras dañinas, y a vivir de una manera que refleje la nueva vida que me has dado a través de Cristo.
Señor, escudriña mi corazón y revela cualquier actitud, palabra o acción que no te honre. Ayúdame a dejar de lado la amargura, el resentimiento y los hábitos pecaminosos. Guarda mi lengua para que mis palabras traigan aliento, verdad y paz a quienes me rodean.

God Gives Success in Fighting Satan. The Power of Surrender and Resistance

"Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7

James gives two commands that work together: "submit to God" and "resist the devil". Many people focus on resisting temptation, but James begins with surrender. True spiritual strength does not come from our own willpower; it comes from placing ourselves under God's authority and trusting His guidance.

To submit to God means to yield our plans, desires, attitudes, and decisions to Him. It is an act of humility that acknowledges God's wisdom is greater than our own. When we willingly align our hearts with His will, we are better equipped to recognize and reject the enemy's lies.

The second command is to resist the devil. Resistance is an active choice. It means standing firm in God's truth when temptation, fear, discouragement, or doubt comes. James promises that when believers stand firm in faith, the devil will flee. This does not mean spiritual battles disappear instantly, but it does mean that evil has no lasting power over a life surrendered to Christ.

Today, consider where God may be calling you to greater surrender. As you trust Him and stand firmly on His Word, you can face challenges with confidence, knowing that His power is greater than any opposition you encounter.

Dear Heavenly Father, I submit my heart, mind, and life to You today. Help me trust Your wisdom above my own understanding. Give me strength to resist temptation and stand firm in Your truth. When I face spiritual battles, remind me that Your power is greater than the enemy's schemes. Teach me to walk in obedience, humility, and faith. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen!

La verdadera batalla

En la Epístola a los Efesios 6:12, Pablo recuerda a los creyentes que muchas de las batallas que enfrentamos son más profundas de lo que podemos ver en la superficie:
“Porque no tenemos lucha contra sangre y carne, sino contra principados, contra potestades, contra los gobernadores de las tinieblas de este mundo, contra la maldad espiritual en las alturas”.

Este versículo cambia nuestra perspectiva. Las personas no son el verdadero enemigo. Detrás del conflicto, la tentación, el desánimo, la división, el miedo y el engaño se está librando una batalla espiritual. Pablo llama a los creyentes a reconocer que nuestra lucha no es meramente física, emocional o política: es espiritual.

A veces gastamos tanta energía luchando contra la gente, defendiéndonos a nosotros mismos o aferrándonos a la amargura que olvidamos que la verdadera batalla es contra la oscuridad misma. El enemigo quiere dividir a las familias, debilitar la fe, desanimar los corazones y alejar a los creyentes de la verdad de Dios. Pero Dios no deja a su pueblo indefenso. Justo después de este versículo, Pablo enseña acerca de ponerse toda la armadura de Dios, la verdad, la justicia, la fe, la salvación y la Palabra de Dios.

Este pasaje también nos recuerda que la fuerza espiritual proviene de Dios, no de nosotros mismos. No podemos superar los ataques espirituales sólo con la sabiduría humana. JUSTICE AND SEPARATION

In Gospel of Matthew 13:24–30, Jesus tells the parable of the wheat and the weeds. A farmer planted good seed in his field, but while everyone slept, an enemy planted weeds among the wheat. As both began to grow, the servants noticed the problem and wanted to pull the weeds immediately. The farmer told them to wait until harvest so the wheat would not be damaged in the process.

In this short story, Jesus tells why God allows evil to continue in the world. According to Jesus, if God uprooted all the evil people (the weeds) now, others (the wheat) might be uprooted along with them. For now, God’s allowing evil doesn’t mean he condones it. Rather, God is waiting for people to turn to him and accept his leadership in their lives.

This parable reminds us that good and evil often grow side by side in the world. Sometimes we expect God to remove every wrong thing immediately, yet His patience allows time for repentance, growth, and maturity. What may look confusing to us is still fully under God’s control. He sees clearly what belongs to Him, even when we cannot. In the same way, we are called to trust God’s wisdom instead of reacting harshly or impatiently. Our responsibility is to remain faithful, rooted in Christ, and fruitful in our daily lives.

Jesus also teaches that there will ultimately be a harvest a day of justice and separation. God’s righteousness will prevail. Evil will not endure forever, and those who belong to Him will shine in His kingdom. This gives believers both hope and perseverance during difficult times.

Dear Heavenly Father, help me trust Your timing when I do not understand what is happening around me. Teach me to grow faithfully even in difficult environments. Guard my heart from bitterness, impatience, and judgment. Fill me with wisdom, perseverance, and hope as I wait for Your harvest. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen!

ENTREGA

En el Evangelio de Mateo, Jesús hace un llamado que es a la vez desafiante y vivificante: “El que quiera ser mi discípulo, niéguese a sí mismo, tome su cruz y sígame”. Estas palabras no fueron dichas sólo a las multitudes, sino a aquellos que verdaderamente deseaban caminar estrechamente con Él.

Negarnos a nosotros mismos no significa que perdamos nuestra identidad o nuestro valor. Significa entregar nuestra propia voluntad, orgullo y deseos para que Cristo pueda dirigir nuestras vidas. El mundo nos enseña a proteger la comodidad, perseguir el interés propio y evitar el sacrificio. Jesús enseña lo contrario: la verdadera vida se encuentra en la entrega.

Tomar nuestra cruz es una elección diaria. Puede parecer perdonar cuando es doloroso, permanecer fiel cuando es difícil, servir sin reconocimiento u obedecer a Dios cuando cuesta algo personalmente. Jesús nunca prometió un camino fácil, pero prometió su presencia en el viaje.

Seguir a Cristo significa confiar en que su camino es mejor que el nuestro. Incluso cuando el camino es incierto, su liderazgo trae paz, propósito y esperanza eterna. La cruz siempre viene antes de la resurrección. El sacrificio en Cristo nunca es en vano.

Querido Padre Celestial, enséñame lo que significa seguirte verdaderamente. Ayúdame a negar mis deseos egoístas y a confiar en Tu voluntad por encima de la mía. Dame fuerza para llevar mi cruz con fe, humildad y perseverancia. Cuando el viaje se vuelva difícil, recuérdame que Tú recorriste este camino primero y que siempre estás conmigo. Forma mi corazón para que cada día se parezca más al tuyo. En el nombre de Jesús oro. ¡Amén!
