This morning in C.C.Kidz, we talked about what the colors of the flag mean. Red-courage, White-Purity and Blue- Justice for all!
Then we talked about what the colors means for Christians. Red- Jesus blood Hebrews 9:22. White- Pure Psalm 1:18 and Blue-God is Faithful 1John 1:9.

Happy Father's Day! We love and appreciate everything you do!

This morning we talked about honoring and respecting our dads.
After class I asked each one of the kids WHAT MAKES YOUR DAD THE GREATEST!
Here are their answers.

T.J - My dad is the greatest cause he is nice.
Keaton, Kylee and Konrad- my dad is the greatest cause he plays with all of us.
Errik- my dad is the greatest cause he plays with me.
Hailee- my dad is the greatest cause he loves me.
Vanessa- my dad is the greatest cause he does fun stuff with me.
Sammi- my dad is the greatest cause he takes me out to eat and does stuff with me.
Christian- my dad is the greatest cause he has never left me.
Ember- my dad is the greatest cause he cuddles with me.

Been missing you all! Can not wait to get back to teaching. In the few weeks to come we will be learning about Resurrection Sunday and what it means and learning some different songs with motions. Can't wait to see each one of you!!

Important dates: Passion Weeks starts next week!

Sunday, March 28th is Palm Sunday!
This is where Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. People waved palm branches at him and some threw their cloaks (jackets) and shouted Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!

Friday, April 2nd is Good Friday!
This is when they crucified Jesus and put him on the cross at Calvary!

Sunday, April 4th is RESURRECTION SUNDAY!
This is an important date for Christians because this is when Jesus was resurrected from the death. In short he was brought back to life and the tomb was empty!
