It was a blessing to celebrate Father Chris' first daily Mass with us and to gather as a parish family in prayer and worship. We look forward to walking alongside him as he begins this new chapter of ministry with our community.

Today we're celebrating our favorite birthday boy, Deacon Eloy! While we won't mention how many candles are on the cake, let's just say you've earned the right to enjoy a slice of cake... and maybe a beer or two! 😉🍺

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure as we explore the beauty of God's creation and grow in our faith together at Rainforest Falls: Exploring the Nature of God!

📅 July 13–17, 2026
⏰ 8:15 AM – 12:15 PM
📍 Santa Maria de la Paz Catholic Community

👧👦 Open to children entering Kindergarten through 5th Grade

🙋‍♀️ Students entering 6th Grade and above are invited to volunteer!

💲 Registration:
• $25 per child (SMDLP Parishioners)
• $35 per child (Other Parishes)

📲 Registration is now open! Scan the QR code on the flyer or visit our registration table after Masses throughout June for assistance.

💚 Volunteers Needed! 💚
We are looking for adults and youth to help make this amazing week possible. Whether you enjoy storytelling, science experiments, games, leading groups, or helping with setup and decorating, there is a place for you!

What a beautiful and inspiring day at Santa Maria de la Paz as we welcomed the Vocation Pilgrims!

It was truly moving to see so many men gathered in prayer, especially the young men who answered the call to pray for vocations and discernment.

In a world filled with so many distractions, witnessing young people open their hearts to God's voice and seek His will was a powerful reminder that the Lord continues to call workers into His vineyard. Please continue to keep these pilgrims, and all those discerning God's call, in your prayers.

"Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening." (1 Samuel 3:10)

May God bless all those who participated and continue to guide them on their journey of faith.

May the Lord continue to raise up holy priests, deacons, religious, and faithful disciples from our parish community. 🙏❤️

🎉🙏 Happy 4th Priestly Anniversary, Father Darrell! 🙏🎉

Today we give thanks to God for the gift of your priesthood and for the many blessings you have brought to our parish family over the past four years.

Father Darrell, your love for Christ, your devotion to the Eucharist, and your genuine care for every parishioner have touched countless lives. Through your leadership, compassion, and joyful spirit, you have helped our parish grow in faith and reminded us what it means to truly be a family united in Christ.

Thank you for your "yes" to God's call, for faithfully serving His people, and for always leading with a shepherd's heart. We are blessed to have a pastor who knows, loves, and cares for his flock so deeply.

We are also accepting donations of clean, gently used items including books, toys, games, kitchen items, clothing, shoes, and small furniture.
