Today, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to Brother Ensar for three years of dedicated service delivering the third Jumu’ah khutbah at our masjid.

For the past three years, he has consistently shared reminders, guidance, and beneficial words with our community. Today will be his last regular khutbah with us as he prepares to begin a new job out of town.

We thank Brother Ensar for his time, commitment, and service to our community, and we ask Allah ﷻ to place barakah in this new chapter, grant him success in his new position, and reward him abundantly for every word of benefit he has shared.

JazakAllahu Khairan, Brother Ensar. You will always be part of the ICSCV family.

Alhamdulillah, we are especially proud to celebrate Brother Mohamed Kaamoush for a lifetime of service that has now been recognized by organizations at many different levels.

Among these honors, two are especially meaningful because they reflect both sides of his service: his leadership within the Islamic Center and his commitment to the broader Egyptian community.

The Islamic Center of Santa Clarita Valley recognized him with its Founders’ Legacy & Lifetime Achievement Award, honoring more than three decades of leadership, sacrifice, and stewardship. As one of the pioneering members who helped establish ICSCV in 1989 and who continues to serve as its Board President, his contribution is deeply woven into the history of the Center. This award recognizes not simply years of service, but a lasting legacy in helping build an institution that has become a spiritual home for generations of Muslim families in the Santa Clarita Valley.

He was also honored by Egyptians United USA.
