Dear Friends of Santa Clarita Center for Spiritual Living.
It saddens me to let you know that our dear friend, practitioner and long time past president, Mary Douglas, made her transition December 9, 2022.
The family will be having a celebration of life service, however, they have limited space and it is already getting to the max. Thus Toni Counts Rose, Jody, Margie and I felt it would be great to have a celebration of life via Zoom.
We plan to have it on Friday, January 27 at 5:30 PM Pacific time. I will forward the zoom link next week, so please keep a watch for my email.
This will be a time for prayer and sharing memories or stories about Mary. I'm sure we will have some laughs as Mary was always quick to make us laugh.
Get prepared by thinking of some memories you may have and want to share.

The Blues Foundation announced the 44th Blues Music Awards nominees today.

CONGRATULATIONS on the Soul Blues Album nomination for 💿GOLDEN GIRL by Trudy Lynn, which Terry produced!

Trudy Lynn was also nominated for Soul Blues Female Artist, and Terry’s wife, Teresa James, was nominated for Contemporary Blues Female Artist!

Terry's quiet, behind-the-scenes work in the studio as a producer, arranger, engineer, multi-instrumentalist, and onstage as bandleader for Teresa James & The Rhythm Tramps lays a solid foundation on which to build musical excellence.

Our hats go off to you, Terry and we appreciate everything you do!
