What if the destination isn't a place—but who we're becoming? ✨

This Sunday, we reach the final stop in our Journeying with Jesus series: “Destination: Transformation.”

Over the past several weeks, we've packed light, trusted the map, followed the Spirit, traveled with companions, and navigated detours and wilderness roads. Now we pause to ask: Who are we becoming along the way?

In Luke 24, two travelers encounter the risen Christ—and realize that something within them has changed. In Romans 12, Paul invites us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.

Because following Jesus isn't simply about reaching the right destination. It's about allowing Christ to change our hearts, our perspectives, our priorities, and the way we live in the world.

We'll gather around the Communion Table and celebrate God's transforming grace as we bring this journey to a close—and prepare to begin a new series, Becoming.

What if the detour isn't taking you away from where God wants you to be? 🛣️✨

This Sunday, we continue our Journeying with Jesus series with “Detours & Wilderness Roads.”

In Exodus 13:17–18, God leads the Israelites through the wilderness—not by the shortest road. And in Matthew 4:1–11, Jesus enters the wilderness before beginning his public ministry.

Sometimes following God takes us places we never expected to go. The road may be longer, harder, or more uncertain than we imagined.

But what if the detour is part of the journey?

Wherever the road has taken you, come journey with us. 💛

Our hearts are heavy as we see the impact of the fires in Newhall. We are deeply saddened by the businesses that have been lost or damaged, the livelihoods affected, and the uncertainty facing so many members of our community.

We are deeply grateful to our firefighters, first responders, emergency personnel, and volunteers for their incredible bravery, sacrifice, and hard work. Thank you for showing up for our community when we need you most. ❤️

May God bring safety, comfort, and healing to Newhall and all those impacted.

🏕️ **Grab your favorite camp shirt and join us for Camp Sunday!** 🏕️

This Sunday, our **Journeying with Jesus** series continues as we celebrate what it means to be **Traveling Together**.

One of the greatest gifts of camp is the reminder that we were never meant to journey alone. We sing together. We laugh together. We worship together. We learn together. And along the way, we discover that God often shows up through the people traveling beside us. ❤️

This Sunday is going to be FUN!

🎶 A whole slew of favorite camp songs, including *Pharaoh, Pharaoh*, *Every Move I Make*, *Sanctuary*, *Turn the World Around*, *Lean on Me* and more!

🎵 Chancel Voices return with *The Lord of the Dance*.

📸 Jonathan McPhee will join Pastor Rachel as we hear stories and impressions from camp and see some of the adventures our children and youth shared this summer.

📖 And we’ll celebrate an important milestone by presenting Bibles to our third graders and older children and youth who have not yet received one.

👕 **Wear your favorite camp shirt or church shirt!** Whether it’s from this summer, camp many years ago, or a church community that has been part of your journey, we’d love to see it.

Come ready to sing, celebrate, laugh, and maybe even remember a few camp-song motions!

This week, we ask a different question:

Who is walking with you?

As we continue our Journeying with Jesus series, we'll travel the Road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35), where two disciples discover that Jesus had been walking beside them all along, even when they didn't recognize him.

Sometimes the journey changes not because the road is different, but because we realize we were never walking it alone.

Join us this Sunday at 9:30 AM as we reflect on what it means to Travel with the Guide.

This past Sunday, we offered blessing over all our children, teachers, and support staff as school begins. Many are back to school by today and we wish you well on your first weeks back. These are the stickers we passed out. We encourage you all to:

Where are you on the mountain today? 🏔️

Not where you wish you were.
Not where someone else thinks you should be.

Where are you...right now?

This Sunday, we continue our Journeying with Jesus series as we explore Jesus' promise that we are never left to walk alone (John 14:15–17) and discover how the Holy Spirit guides us—even when the path takes unexpected turns (Acts 16:6–10).

Every journey looks different. Some seasons find us climbing. Others invite us to rest. Sometimes God closes one door to lead us toward another.

The good news? Wherever you are on the journey, you do not walk alone.

When you don't know the way ahead... trust the Map. 🗺️✨

This Sunday, we continue our Journeying with Jesus series with "Trust the Map," exploring Psalm 119:105 and 2 Timothy 3:14–17.

God's Word may not reveal every twist and turn of the road ahead, but it does reveal the character of the One who walks beside us. It is a lamp to our feet, a light to our path, and a trustworthy guide for every season of life.

Where is God inviting you to trust His direction, even if you can't yet see the whole journey?

Join us this Sunday at 9:30 AM as we worship together, celebrate Holy Communion, and discover once again that we can trust the One who has gone before us.
