Getting three teenage boys to pose for a picture? Thatโ€™s the real miracle. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿฆฉ

Between the laughter, goofy faces, and endless joking, something meaningful happened during Sunday School this morning.

Our Ignite students headed into the church parking lot to place encouragement cardsโ€”each paired with our signature hot pink mini flamingoโ€”on vehicles. Every card was a small reminder that God sees us, loves us, and has a purpose for our lives.

We may never know whose day was brightened by one of these little flamingos, but we trust God will place each one exactly where itโ€™s needed.

Sometimes living out our calling looks less like doing something extraordinary and more like choosing to encourage one person at a time.

Ignite Youth were productive stocking shelves, assembling bags of perishable items, and placing barcode labels on packages to be sold within the grocery store on premises. This non-profit has been a favorite amongst our teens!

Unity Shoppe is a Santa Barbara based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free essential services to residents impacted by temporary conditions of poverty, natural disaster, or health crisis. We provide residents with groceries, clothing, and other essentials, as well as job training โ€“ the things that help reinforce human dignity, and encourage self-sufficiency and independence.
