Fr. Joseph M. Geary Council 3523 - Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternal benefit society formed in 1882 by Fr. McGivney to render financial aid to members and their families. The Order, now 1.9 million members strong, is still true to its founding principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled, and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual

fellowship is promoted among members and their families through religious, charitable, educational, and social works. Joseph Geary Council 3523 serves the parishes of St. Martin of Tours, and is part of the San Jose Chapter. Yearly council programs include hosting Catholic Charities' Handicapables, fundraising for People with Intellectual Disabilities (aka annual Tootsie Roll Drive), hosting the Pro-life Mass of Reparation, and participation in the Walk for Life West Coast. The council periodically organizes and participates in both Council and parish socials (e.g. Coffee & Doughnuts, Pancake Breakfasts). If you are interested in joining Fr.
