MAS Bay Area Muslim American Society of the Bay Area is leading organization that develops individuals Islamically We strive to:

The MAS Bay Area Chapter is one of about 50 MAS membership-based chapters across the U.S. MAS Chapters subscribe to a comprehensive, balanced, moderate, movement oriented vision of Islam in America that is based on self-development (Tarbiyah) and focuses on empowering the community and leadership through service. MAS is a pioneering Islamic revival and reform organization that offers unique progra

ms and services that impart Islamic knowledge, promote community service, and engage in political activism. teach young Muslims social responsibility and equip them for leadership;
2. educate and organize the Muslim community towards civic engagement, and;
3. develop interfaith and inter-community understanding and cooperation, and create coalitions on issues of shared concern.
