The first week of Kindergarten is officially complete!

From P.E. class to learning center groups, our kindergarteners explored how to work as a team both academically and emotionally. They also met their 8th grade buddy for the year! Each member of our 8th grade class is paired with a kindergartner, guiding them during the school year by sitting together at weekly masses and having monthly gatherings to learn and grow together.

Last week, our 5th grade students were inducted into the Safety Patrol program by Officer Carpenter! In collaboration with the Santa Clara Police Department, our 5th graders promised to keep our community safe when assisting with student drop-off and pick-up each day.

🏃‍♀️🏀 Teamwork in Action in 5th Grade PE! 🏀🏃‍♂️

Our 5th graders had so much fun in PE while putting their teamwork, communication, and cooperation skills into action! 💪🤝

Working in groups of four, each student held a string connected to a ball in the center. Their challenge was to move together around the gym while keeping the ball balanced which took plenty of communication, patience, and teamwork!

There were lots of smiles, laughter, and encouragement as students learned that when everyone works together, they can accomplish their goal! 💙💛

We love seeing our students learning, moving, and having fun together!
