FAMILY CENTER // In attempt to not disrupt the resources we provide to the families we serve at the Family Center, we are modifying our distribution method. We’ll be pre-packing bags of food in a sanitized environment in extremely small groups of volunteers throughout the week, then on Saturdays, a small group of volunteers will help distribute the bags in a “to-go” method in the alley behind the Family Center. This is in attempt to still meet the needs of vulnerable populations who are perhaps hardest hit by this economic repercussions of this pandemic, while minimizing exposure as much as possible for all parties. If you have been around anyone who has traveled recently, if you are immunocompromised, if you’re over 65, or if you or anyone in your house has been sick in the last two weeks, please stay home.
