Jesus used parables to challenge his followers to know a new kind of community, one that starts small and grows to such size that it reshapes the world through compassion, justice, and healing.

Alongside our young people, we are embarking on a September and fall focusing on Jesus' many parables, some of them just a few sentences, that invite us into the mystery of God's reign.

Have you ever been curious about parables? Do you wonder why some churches and Christians focus on judgment and sin and not these peculiar, radical little stories? What if a small seed can blossom into a movement to shift us into something different than what our society is experiencing now -- a society that welcomes immigrants, that loves the LGBTQ+ community, that ends wars, that tears down walls that divide us?

Jesus' parables can do just that.

We worship every Sunday at 10 AM. Wherever you are on your faith journey, you are more than welcome. Love grows here!

THIS SUNDAY, we celebrate workers of all kinds, who care for us, keep our communities running, make our cities safe, and do the behind the scenes kind of work that no one else wants to do. We recognize work as a gift from God. May the hands of all workers be blessed.

Hear from workers part of Unite Local 11 who work at Disneyland and help make the magic that thousands enjoy every day as they negotiate for better working conditions and a fair contract as we open our pulpit to these neighbors and get a glimpse of their lives.

May God open our hearts and move us into a stronger community, where everyone has what they need to thrive.

Attention and neighbors,

Our Rally Day starts our fall emphasis with opportunities to learn, grow, and gather in community at God's table. Our youth group is thriving in collaboration with our friends at First Christian of Orange. Our young people are being taught the stories of faith through Worship & Wonder. We have bible studies and book studies to create space to ask the hard questions and listen for wisdom.

Gather with us after worship for a fun potluck with burgers and fixings and lots of side dishes to enjoy.

New sign alert.

We love and support .

Just last week, Rev. Nathan and several church members joined with people of faith and every background to pray in vigil outside of the OC Immigration Courts in Santa Ana. While there, we prayed for an Afghan refugee family who were going before a judge. This family had, at one point, ankle monitors on, all because they had to flee their country and had helped the US during its occupation of their lands. Instead of supporting them and fast tracking their status, our government continues to throw up roadblocks for these brave women and their families.

They are doing it the right way and still face uncertainty.

We prayed a reminder that they are not alone, that our God is a God of refugees and immigrants, that love wins.
