Sunday is coming, and God's welcome table has room for you. Our annual Pride Sunday worship blends music, celebration, recommitment, prayer, and communion and grounds us in our commitment to be church where everyone is truly welcome to be who they are and know God's love. This year, we welcome guest preacher Dr. Kevin Nguyen-Stockbridge and musical guests Men Alive. Worship begins at 10 AM.

Happy Pride month!

This is a month of celebration of God's love for all people. Our welcome to LGBTQIA+ folks as a church turns 25 years old this month, a commitment grounded through prayer, discernment, compassion, and justice. Just as God's love stretches out to us, we seek to welcome more and more of the human family in all of our diversity and beauty. And the journey has been worth it!

Here's the good news - many churches like us exist in your neighborhoods. If you are in a church where a pastor tells you that you are evil or not good enough or that you should reject your family members and loved ones, you can find a church that meets you where you are, celebrates you, and practices a love for all people.

A couple of amazing moments from worship as we honored our beloved Rev. Nancy Brink ahead of her retirement from serving students, faculty, and the community at Chapman University. Thank you, Nancy, for sharing a message of good news and hope in this time and for your faithful service.

We welcome the wonderful Rev. Nancy Brink to our pulpit today while our pastor is away for his graduation. Nancy is completing her service as Executive Director of Fish Interfaith Chapel at Chapman University, serving students and gathering people from different faith traditions for learning and bridge building. We are so thankful for her legacy as well as the leadership she provides to our church. Let’s welcome her today and be sure to thank her for her service to our church as we gather at 10 AM PST for worship.

You'll hear from Native leaders on practices, traditions, and wisdom on how to care for the earth as well as from local leaders who can help us cultivate native plants.
