Are you thirsty for more of the Holy Spirit in your life?

If you are craving a deeper experience of God’s presence, the answer is simple: just ask! As Char Brodersen reminded us this weekend, God delights in giving good gifts to his children, and he will not withhold the Holy Spirit from those who ask.

Take a moment right now to invite the Holy Spirit to meet you in your longing, your questions, and your doubts. God is ready and waiting to fill you anew!

Swipe through to see what else we learned last weekend and join us today as we continue in Acts.

The good news of Jesus Christ is not just a minor adjustment to our routines. As Char Brodersen shares in our study through the book of Acts, the gospel is like a colossal asteroid coming into our orbit. It obliterates old categories, smashes our preconceived ideas, and completely rearranges our entire world.

When we truly recognize the beauty of new life in him, it becomes our pearl of great price. The only logical response is a willingness to give up everything else just to take hold of this invaluable treasure.

Here is a quick recap of last week’s message as we continue our journey through the Book of Acts! We looked at the Day of Pentecost and the incredible reality that God’s Spirit now dwells within each of us.

Swipe through for a few key takeaways, and join us today as we continue our study in Acts!

In the Old Testament, God’s presence was often depicted by fire. From the burning bush to the pillar of fire by night, it was a powerful message of his holy and overwhelming presence among his people. But at Pentecost, everything changed!

As we continue our journey through the book of Acts, Char Brodersen reminds us that the presence of God that was once unapproachable now rests on each individual follower of Jesus. Every disciple is filled with God’s holy presence, making us living, breathing burning bushes alive with his Spirit!

Because of Pentecost, we are never alone. We carry the very presence of the resurrected Jesus with us wherever we go to share his love with the world.

Here is a quick recap of last week’s message as we continue our journey through the Book of Acts!

We looked closely at the disciples in the Upper Room, learning that their season of waiting wasn’t passive, but a time of active preparation for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Swipe through for a few key takeaways, and join us today as we continue our study in Acts!

Waiting on the Lord is not a passive activity.

We live in the “time between the times”—celebrating the kingdom that Jesus has already brought while actively waiting for its full culmination. But this waiting requires preparation. It requires prayer, work, and sometimes, even tears.

We are living in a world pregnant with hope. As we actively wait on the Lord, we are called to be the midwives of another world!

Our very own Bianka Mathus—Local Mission Lead and HSM Girls Lead—was recently recognized by the California State PTA for her outstanding service to Adams Elementary! The Golden Oak Service Award is given to individuals who have made significant contributions to the welfare of children and youth within a local school community.

Many of you have witnessed firsthand the love, consistency, and care Bianka has poured into Adams these past few years. She has served so faithfully—not only showing up for students and families, but also inviting many of us into the joy of loving and serving our local community together.

Bianka, we are deeply grateful for you and the way you reflect the heart of Jesus. This recognition is so well deserved!
