Tuesday Evening Joyful Life Women's Evening Joyful Life Bible Study All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed (Joshua 23:14). Childcare Will Be Provided

The subject of this year's Joyful Life Bible Study is
POSSESSING THE PROMISES
The Bible offers a myriad of exceedingly great and precious promises (2
Peter 1:4)! When Joshua first became the leader of Israel following the death of Moses, he was given the daunting task of conquering the land of Canaan. Yet God gave him a promise as he embarked on his mission: Be strong and of good courage; do not

be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). As Joshua believed God’s promise and walked in obedience to God’s commands, he witnessed God’s conquering power and might in bringing Israel victoriously into the land. As a result, Joshua could confidently declare to the people, Not one thing has failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spoke concerning you. The same God who worked mightily to bring Joshua and the Israelites into the land He had promised them desires to bring us into all He has for us today! Our God has made a covenant with us to give us all His promises through Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:20). This study through the book of Joshua will give us greater insights into God’s character, encourage us to embrace His promises, and challenge us to walk in obedience to His Word. It is time to inherit and take possession of these promises by faith in Jesus! The Bible study lessons have been published in a book format and will be available for a donation of $10 at the Joyful Life study.

My husband is in a wheelchair and so many children stare and want to engage with him. Many parents often tell their child not to stare. I think we probably learnt it from our parents. My husband has always encouraged children to come and say hello. Children are just curious, and the more they look, and then engage, the more they will understand. Same goes for children to children. We are mostly all the same, and the more we identify that, the more happier we are, and also our communities will be.
