What is ruling your heart?

This week in Kingdom Living, we explored one of the most challenging teachings in the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus reminds us that following Him isn't just about managing our outward behavior—it's about allowing Him to transform what is happening beneath the surface.

Anger, resentment, offense, and unresolved conflict can quietly take root in our hearts, but Jesus calls us into a better way. As citizens of His Kingdom, we're invited to pursue reconciliation, extend grace, and live under the life-giving rule of the Author of Life.

The life found in Jesus is greater than the removal of life that can take root in our hearts.

The Kingdom of God is unlike any kingdom this world has ever known.

This Sunday at New Life, we continued our Kingdom Living series by looking at the purpose of the Law, the fulfillment found in Jesus, and the freedom we now have through the Spirit. Jesus didn’t come to abolish the Law — He came to fulfill it completely, revealing the heart of the Father and inviting us into a transformed way of living.

Kingdom Living goes beyond outward rule-following. It’s about hearts shaped by grace, truth, mercy, and the Presence of God.
No matter where you are in your journey, you’re invited to walk with us as we pursue His Presence together.

As followers of Jesus, we’re called to live differently — carrying His light into dark places and bringing the flavor of His Kingdom everywhere we go. In this first message, we explored Jesus’ words about being salt and light, learning that Kingdom Living isn’t about striving to become someone else, but living from the identity Christ has already given us.
