Our new pastor has been appointed. Yesterday District Superintendent Rhodes introduced the Church Council to Ray Morgan who will begin pastoring FUMC Sanger in July. It was nice to meet him and his wife Debbie. Welcome to them both. They come from the Methodist Church in Sadler, TX and will be covering Valley View and Sanger churches.

Greetings and congratulations to everyone who worked on the Spring Fling and Fish Fry. It was terrific to see the church full of people sharing in a time of fellowship and fund raising for our missions. The fish was fantastic. We will have another fish fry soon for the congregation.

This was also a time to remember all our veterans who have passed. The sanctuary had a very moving display of photos. If you didn't get your family members represented this year, plan to bring a photo next year.
