What a wonderful celebration! St. George’s 120th Anniversary Picnic was a tremendous success, with more than 100 people coming together on a beautiful Saturday to celebrate the joy of community. The kids had a blast with the bounce house, the live band kept us smiling and tapping our toes, and the delicious food made the day even more special. Most of all, it was a wonderful opportunity to share laughter, friendship, and memories together. A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who helped make this celebration such a joyful and memorable occasion. Happy 120th Birthday, St. George’s Church! Here’s to 120 years of faith, fellowship, and community—and to many more wonderful years ahead!

Church isn't only about what happens inside a church building. It's about people.
It's about neighbors helping neighbors, showing up for one another, sharing what we have, and making sure people don't have to face difficult seasons alone.
We're grateful to be part of this community and for everyone who works to make our community stronger.

St. George's commitment to outreach has extended beyond Sanford, including involvement with projects in Haiti and Honduras as well as collaboration with the Sanford Strong Coalition.
Serving our neighbors can take many forms — sometimes across the street, sometimes across town, and sometimes across the world. We're grateful for everyone who has helped make that work possible.
