❤️ A HEARTFELT APOLOGY TO OUR COMMUNITY
To everyone who came to the Roses Valley Community Health Fair hoping to see a doctor or dentist but were unable to do so, we sincerely apologize.
We understand how important it is to take time out of your day, travel to the health fair, register and wait with the expectation of receiving care. We recognize that some of you left without being seen, and we are truly sorry for the disappointment and inconvenience this caused.
There were several unforeseen circumstances that affected the availability and flow of our medical services.
🩺 Some registered participants left before they could be seen. As with any community health event, some individuals registered but were no longer present when the medical team became available to see them.
🚨 Dr. Wilson was unfortunately involved in an accident. This unexpected situation significantly affected our medical team and the number of consultations we were able to accommodate. We are grateful that the situation did not prevent our team from continuing to serve as best as possible under the circumstances.
🦷 Our dental services were also affected by an unexpected medical situation. Dr. Hutchinson-Isaacs (the brown lady in purple top) was ill and, as a result, the dental team arrived later than originally planned. Despite this challenge, she remained committed to ensuring that the community received dental care, and her team worked diligently to serve as many people as possible.
And they certainly did.
🦷 OUR DENTAL TEAM SHOWED UP FOR ROSES VALLEY!
Despite the delayed start, the dental team managed to provide:
✅ 47 Dental Cleanings
✅ 45 Dental Examinations
✅ 6 Dental Extractions
That represents 98 dental examinations and cleanings, in addition to the extractions performed for those who required them.
We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Hutchinson-Isaacs and her dental team** for their dedication and determination to serve the community despite the circumstances.
❤️ TO THOSE WHO WERE NOT SEEN...
We see you, and we hear you.
We know that explaining the circumstances does not erase the frustration of coming out expecting care and not receiving it. For that, please accept our sincerest apology.
The Roses Valley Community Health Fair is built on the belief that everyone deserves access to healthcare, and our intention was never for anyone to feel overlooked or turned away.
Community health events can present unexpected challenges, but we remain committed to learning from this experience and improving our planning, scheduling and coordination for future events.
To everyone who came, registered, waited, volunteered, provided care, or supported the event in any way — thank you for your patience, understanding and continued trust.
Most importantly, we want our community to know:
We did not forget you. We appreciate you. And we remain committed to serving you. ❤️
