SUNDAYS SERMON REFLECTION
🔥 THE WAR OVER REALITY!
Text Reference | John 3;1-8
The Controversy of Reality | The greatest war may not be over what happens in your life; it may be over which reality gets permission to interpret what happens in your life.
God was first. Spirit is foundational. The Word preceded manifestation. The unseen God created the seen world. And through new birth, I am learning to live consciously under the government of His Spirit.
So The War Over Reality is ultimately a battle over what gets to go first in my consciousness.
THE WAR REVEALED
🤚 The work wrestling with the war! The war is not necessarily because you're doing something wrong.
🤚 Sometimes there is warfare because something is trying to interrupt the relationship between (the person) God formed and (the work) God ordained.
The attack says: If I cannot erase the work, "I'll exhaust the worker.”
🤚 We are living chronologically (in time) through something God has already viewed dimensionally.
🤚 Before you arrived, God saw a world attached to your existence - people you would influence, environments you would change, generations you would affect, systems you would challenge, and spaces your obedience would create.
1. There is more than one reality.
Jesus told Nicodemus, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” The Kingdom can be present while remaining invisible to an unawakened perception.
🤚 New birth gives us access to a reality we could not previously see.
2. The war over reality is ultimately the war over which realm gets the authority to interpret your life.
Will pain interpret it?
Will circumstances interpret it?
Will culture interpret it?
Will fear interpret it?
Or will God?
🤚 I refuse to let what I SEE cancel what God SAW.
3. There is a WORLD and a WORK God already saw. We are discovering in time what was already present in God's intention.
4. The warfare surrounding your becoming may be connected to the work your obedience will accomplish and the world your assignment will impact.
5. You cannot enter a new reality with an old consciousness.
🤚 Jesus said, “Ye must be born again.” Kingdom living requires more than behavioral improvement; it demands spiritual transformation. (John 3:1-8)
