📢 Please share: We need Meals on Wheels volunteers!

We currently have needs at the following meal sites:

Portland/Westbrook (426 Bridge St, Westbrook):
• 1 packer (Thursdays, 7:00–7:30 AM start). Packing shift typically takes 2–3 hours to complete.

Springvale (21 Bradeen St, Springvale):
• 1 packer (Tuesdays, approximately 8:00–10:00 AM)
• 1 driver for the Tuesday Acton route
• Back-up drivers for Tuesdays or Thursdays

• Drivers should have a reliable vehicle, as some routes include rural and back roads.
• Volunteers must be 18+.
• Mileage reimbursement is available up to $0.65 per mile.

This morning the Today Show had a segment about young adults going back to the Catholic Church (Praise God for all who follow a path to God!) If you see this post and you are any age-any faith, looking for a Church to visit, attend occasionally, or join; You are invited to join us at Crossroads United Methodist Church 15 Grammar Road in Sanford. Our service is at 8:45 am on Sundays. Our motto is Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors. We are primarily an adult congregation but we would be excited to welcome more children to our congregation.

Join us in prayer for people in Kentucky and Tennessee who were impacted by severe flash flooding over the weekend. We pray especially for the families and loved ones of the five people who lost their lives in the floodwaters, and for those who have lost their homes and livelihoods.

In response, UMCOR has awarded a solidarity grant to the Kentucky Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church, which will support their immediate relief efforts to those in need, including debris removal, Early Response Team deployment, distribution of relief supplies, and more.
