May Day—Beltane—means bright fire. It stands at the threshold: halfway between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice, a hinge in the year where promise becomes fullness. This is not a quiet holiday. It is not a modest one. It is a season that insists on life—on blooming, on desire, on connection, on becoming. It is also an important day in the history of the labor movement. We will weave these themes together in a service of hope and empowerment.
