Sanford Holy Cross Episcopal Church Holy Communion - Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. Holy Cross is an historic church established in 1877. The office is closed on Friday.

We are considered the “mother church” of the Dioceses of Central Florida. We are active in our community welcoming newcomers and providing educational, spiritual, and fellowship opportunities for our both our parishioners and other community members. Whether you are with us in-person or on-line Sunday morning, in-person on Wednesdays at noon, or join us on Wednesday evening for bible study or Wedn

esday Morning via Zoom for Book Club, it is our desire to make you feel welcome. We're kicking off Fall Alpha tomorrow night! We'll have dinner from Christo's and get to know one another a little better. Bring a friend and see you there!

We're gearing up for our Fall 2026 Alpha that starts next Tuesday! We'll have 8 weeks together, culminating in a confirmation service on Reformation Sunday (10/25).

Come join us for a wonderful evening of music at Holy Cross on September 13th at 5pm! This concert will feature a chamber orchestra, organ, and professional vocal soloists. The program will include familiar pieces like Vivaldi’s Autumn as well as a semi-staged performance of J.S. Bach’s comedic Coffee Cantata that you will not want to miss! This concert will be unlike anything we have done to date in our music series and it will be the perfect one to invite friends and family to. It is also a fundraiser to help support the ongoing organ repairs and music ministry at Holy Cross. We strive to offer a wide variety of professional concerts throughout the year and your generosity helps up bring amazing music to the downtown Sanford area. The concert will be free and open to the public, but we will take up a free will offering so we can continue to offer these concerts for everyone to enjoy. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall and dinner will be provided, so we hope it is a night to remember as we celebrate Holy Cross and all the Lord is doing at a our church!
